When I first heard about PFAS a few years ago, I honestly didn't know exactly what it was. Until I really started looking into it. And what did I discover? PFAS are chemicals found in the non-stick coatings of many pans, among other things, and they can remain in your body for life.
That shocked me. We all pay attention to what we eat, but rarely to what we cook with. And yet the cooking utensils themselves, especially if you use them daily, are perhaps just as important.
That was the start of a mission for me. With KookGigant, I want to ensure that as many households as possible switch to a healthier, safer way of cooking without PFAS. In this blog post, I'll share why that's so important to me, and why so many people have already made the switch.
